Just like a scene from ‘A Midsummer Night‘s Dream’, take one peek at this glorious styled shoot and you‘ll be dreaming of woodland nyphs and faeries fair.
It features a bevvy of beauties, styled and dressed by local creatives who work in the pledge and party industries – art directed by Holly Mason of Some Kind of Wonderful and photographed by Loren Ioppolo of Nectarine.
“If fairies truly exist – and we like to think they do – this is where they would live. Hidden amongst trees adorned in masses of ivy, accessed only by a broken handmade footbridge and maze of reeds, is Perth’s best kept secret. You know, one of those places that to know about it you must have heard it from someone who has been there,” said Holly.
Describing the day, she said “The weather turned out to be dark, wet and very moody which made us all doubt whether we would go ahead… however, we persevered (with gumboots ‘in hand’ or rather on feet) as this only added to the tone of the images Loren so very skilfully composed. Where is the sense of adventure in a simple, clean shoot anyway? As wedding vendors, each and every one of us would rather push ourselves and the boundaries to achieve something that blows the minds of our clients than sit on the sidelines.”
Congrats crew. Be sure to peek at the fine folks involved, following the images below. And lovers, to bed; ‘tis almost fairy time!
