Why Hypatia met John he was wearing a cat T-shirt. He said he had 3 cats. She didn’t believe him. She said, “That just seemed crazy to me… 3 cats!” Little did Hypatia know that one day they would be wed, and in her own words, become “… that crazy cat family with 5 cats. Three doesn’t seem quite so odd after all nowadays!” 

Their joyful, intimate nuptials took place in South Perth. “We had only 28 guests so we were able to spend time with everyone and still enjoy the day with each other,” said Hypatia, “Since we started dating, we’ve been inseparable … Spending our days mostly laughing and enjoying each other’s company, we quickly knew we wanted to spend our lives together.”

Describing the proposal, Hypatia said, “John got down on one knee like a gentleman and I swear the world stopped. After that, we got busy planning our big day and like we hoped, it truly was the best day ever – which we realised could only be possible when you marry the love of your life.”
