Think of what a wedding planned in just four months on a tight budget might look like… alrighty, do you have that mental image ready? We’ll bet you eleventy-squillion bucks you’re wrong! Juanita and Simon are both stylish beyond belief and their savvy choices of vendors, plus the coming together of talented friends and family resulted in the most beautiful of big days.

Juanita said, “We are very fortunate to have very talented and generous friends.” Her wedding dress, veil and headpiece were designed and sewn by her cousin. “So much love and time went into my dream dress!” And their beautiful bouquets, buttonholes and reception blooms were created by Juanita’s friend and cousin from Botanical Blooms.

“Our cake was specially designed and made for us by a close friend who just happens to be a classically trained French chef – it was the most amazing cake we have ever tasted… and instead of cutting it we ‘sauced the cake’.” In this sweet little ceremony, Simon chose chocolate sauce whilst Juanita poured raspberry sauce over the cake at the same time.

If it was possible to create something themselves, the couple did so: styling, sourcing vintage furniture from Gumtree, sewing bunting galore and Simon even handcrafted a ‘happily ever after starts now’ sign that speeches were made under. Juanita said, “It all came together and was the most perfect day. Our only complaint it went too quickly!”
