Then comes marriage: Cinta & Phil

We’re just a little bit in love with Cinta and Phil ourselves! These kids put aside the frou frou and the fussiness and even “the first look must happen at the altar” nonsense, so often present at carbon-copy weddings. As Cinta explained, “We wanted a modern and simple evening, and so we removed a lot of the formalities that we weren’t completely comfortable with.”

What they did instead, was focus on togetherness and top-drawer shindig-throwing! Each spent time with their favourite folks whilst dressing, but the whole bridal party came together for final preparations. Cinta and Phil were able to take a quiet moment to ready themselves for their big day. A session with their photographer Fiona Hoy and a relaxed picnic in the park also meant that there would be no distractions from the ‘I do-s’ and the merry-making to come.

They chose to celebrate with both the ceremony and a cocktail-style reception hosted at the one venue – Luxe Bar’s bamBOO. From the moment Cinta walked down the amphitheatre’s aisle to Sigur Ros’ Hoppipolla to the laughter shared with their civil celebrant Shannon Fleming to cutting a rug under the stars and finally cutting a cheese stack in place of a wedding cake – this couple were able to simply revel in the joy of their commitment made before their nearest and dearest. Like they say, “Love is simple. You fall and that’s it.”

And we suspect that the images that Cinta and Phil have kindly shared with us, will make you fall in love with them too…
