Then comes marriage: Claudia & Simon

Claudia walked through the door of Fremantle’s favourite live music dive Mojos. Simon was sitting at the end of the bar. Years later, he confessed that was the night he wanted to make her his wife.

A musician himself, Simon stays up late and gets up late. He is spontaneous and adventurous and the perfect complementary companion to smiley but very sensible English-teacher-type Claudia. They chose a spot sentimental to them both – Memorial Park in Mosman Park – to do the deed. A deed that was just 8 weeks in the planning!

Having dined at The Wine Store earlier in the week they decided to go ahead and get hitched, they thought they’d try their luck and book a date. Friends telephoned to check that the invitation did indeed say 2014, not 2015, but Claudia and Simon knew exactly what they wanted to make their day memorable. Their wedding was warm, intimate and relaxed – full to the brim of heartfelt moments like Simon’s surprise performances of Elbow’s One Day Like This and Bob Marley’s Mellow Mood that couldn’t help but bring a tear to Claudia’s eye.

We thank them both and their ever-delightful photographer Melissa Mills for sharing.
